The Lisbon Congress Center

The Lisbon Congress Center (Centro de Congressos de Lisboa) is located by the river Tagus and the historical and cultural heritage site of Belém. Close to the city center, and in a prime area with a good transport links, it is a comfortable venue for hosting congresses, conferences, business meetings, fairs, exhibitions and other events.

Traveling to the Venue

From Lisbon Airport

The Lisbon International Airport lies 7km to the north of the city center, with direct Metro (underground) access and ample public transport options.

For those driving to the venue, the CCL has two car parks, with a total capacity of 1 100 spaces. These car parks adapt their business hours to the events and there are several payment options. There is an hourly rate and a daily rate for congress participants and exhibitors, with no entry or exit restrictions. There are additional car parks in the vicinity of the CCL. Find out more here.

Transfer from the airport to the venue by taxi takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on the traffic.

Taxis are available in front of the airport building. The estimated travel cost from the airport to the venue should be under EUR 25, assuming daytime travel under regular traffic conditions.

Bus

You can reach the city center by taking one of the buses which leaves Lisbon airport. There is no direct bus to the CDC 2027 venue and the trip takes about an hour. You can plan your trip here.

The following are alternative bus routes you can take from Cais do Sodré to the conference venue:

  • Bus stop R. Junqueira (Centro de Congressos): 15E (tram) | 714, 727, 732, 751, 756

  • Bus stop Hospital Egas Moniz / Av. Índia: 728


Metro

You can also take the Metro (underground) to arrive at Cais do Sodré from the airport building. Take the red line to Alameda station and then change to the green line running to Cais do Sodré (end of the line). From here, several buses and a tram go to the conference venue.

From Oriente Train Station

If you are arriving at the Oriente train station, take the Metro (red line) to Alameda and then change to the green line running to Cais do Sodré. From here, several buses and a tram go to the venue.
